The lines formed early as folks gathered to share a Thanksgiving dinner with other DonPedroites. This was one of our largest crowds ever with about 550 people served. Around the tables hosts encourage people to share things they were thankfull for this year and people who hadn't seen each other in a while caught up on the latest news. So many people helped to make this annual event another great success. Special thanks to Helen Miller the entire crew for all the help with preperation of food, set up tare down and clean up. Also thanks to the young people from FFA for their help.
We will have our Annual Business Meeting at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday December 1st. A quorum is required and it is very important that each member attend. We will review our budget for 2014, receive reports from our various Ministry Team Leaders and vote on a proposed amendament to the Constitution and By Laws. A copy of the proposed amendament is available in the foyer but can also be accessed here.
Our first Mariposa Youth Rally was great! Over 140 youth participated in games and fellowship together. There were four youth that accepted Christ. The youth enjoyed gathering together to listen to speakers and encourage each other in their faith. They were reminded to keep each other accountable in their walk with Christ. We're looking forward to our next Mariposa Rally!
Friday night Oct 18th lots of the ladies were decked out in their poodle skirts and scarfs for that 50's-60's look. A trivia contest brought back memories of hula-hoops. potato heads, bomb shelters, Elvis, Purple people eater and lots more. It was a great evening, wonderful fellowship and as always terrific home cookin'. Elvis may still be in chiropractic care from trying to move those hips like he onced did but I hear he will recover. Check out more photos on the Amazing Grays Web Page.
The is link to the budget proposed by our Official Board for 2014. We will be discussing and voting on the budget at our upcoming Annual Business meeting. If you have any input or questions regarding the proposed budget please contact members of our board. Access the proposed budget by clicking here.

August 10, marked 29 years of dedicated service by Pastor Hans and Susie Frei. It has been an amazing journey and Pastor and Susie have been so faithful. There have been many challenges over the years but God has never failed. We love and appreciate everything they have done. Pastor Paul, the Associate Pastor said "if Hans will stick around another year we will throw a party for the big 30!" We are all looking forward to it.
Youth Camp - Fuge- has come to an end, but the youth, counselors and leaders are still excited about what God did in the lives of the 30+ youth from LDPBC that attended. DavidMark, Youth Pastor, reports that it was truely awesome to see the youth with hands raised in worship as they sensed God's presence in their lives. "They really ministered to one another" in a way they had never done before, Wynter said. Thanks to all who went as well as drivers, and those who supported the fundraisers that made this all possible. Check out Fuge-2013 photos on the "Youth" page of this site.
