As the Church, the body of Christ, we have the great joy of worshiping God in many ways; through ministry and service to others, through the reading and study of His word, through giving and prayer as well as music. Music has played an important roll throughout the history of God’s people in both Old and New Testaments and throughout the modern history of the Christian church. We worship because God is worthy of our praise and worship. It is one way for us to honor and give him the glory he deserves. It can also be the means by which God blesses us. We can connect with Him through our music and praise. 

The psalmist wrote: “Oh come, let’s us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Psalms 95: 6-7 In Psalms 98 he records the following; “Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things….shout for joy to the Lord of all the earth. Burst into jubilant song and music; make music to the Lord…” 

At Lake Don Pedro Baptist we seek to ensure that our worship is in both  “Spirit and in Truth” and that we give full glory and honor to Him whom we praise.
